School commences in the first week of June and concludes in the second week of April.

Primary school (Std. I to V) functions from 09.10 a.m. to 03.00 p.m.
High school and Higher Secondary function from 08.45 a.m. to 03.45 p.m. Higher Secondary classes may sometimes extend upto 5.00 p.m.

Subjects learnt in the State Board are Tamil, English, Maths, Science & Social Studies till Std. X.

Groups offered in Std. XI & XII are:

A Group – English, Tamil/Hindi/French, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
B Group – English, Tamil/Hindi/French, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer science

The Tamil Nadu Board of school evaluates students’ progress by conducting two board examinations, one at the end of class X for 500 marks and the other at the end of Class XII for 1200 marks. The scores from class XII Board exams are used by universities to determine eligibility and as cut-off for admission into their programmes.

The CBSE curriculum gives rigorous training in problem solving and application of principles. It is more conceptual.
State Board is more competitive than CBSE. It needs more of memorising the concepts. Many students opt for state board syllabus after completing X in CBSE, as they are able to get an easy score. It is highly textual.

English, Tamil, Hindi, French are the languages taught. The medium of instruction is English and it is mandatory to use English in the campus.

Till Std. VIII the standard is mostly common, as we pertain to the same syllabus. The Core subjects remain the same but the number of examination papers differs. Matric students appear for Twelve papers while CBSE students write five papers.

Yes. They can. Many students from abroad have joined Shrishti and have found it easy to cope and score more marks as the teaching methodology helps them acquire the skills needed.

Only students who opt for Hostel accommodation will be provided admission to classes VI to XII. An extra section will be created for the hostellers if the number of students exceed.

Admission to Shri Manu Makhija Memorial Shrishti Padasala is strictly restricted to the economically weak students only, from the thirty villages in and around Katpadi.

A fully air conditioned hostel block, separately for boys and girls, with well ventilated and spacious Air conditioned rooms, accommodates students from class VI to class XII. The first phase of hostels will accommodate upto 400 children.
